A love story, delivered by mail
He fell in love with you in high school. Then he fell through time.
The Cadence Letters is a story told entirely through letters. Twice a month, a man lost in time writes to the first love he never confessed to, you, from a different century each time.
Did you ever find a folded note in your textbook that you couldn't explain?
Arthur never got to say goodbye. On his eighteenth birthday, he began slipping through time: a glass palace in Victorian London, a schoolhouse in a frontier mining town, a city in the future that somehow already knew his name. Through all of it, one thing stayed clear. You. These are his letters.
How it works
Two letters a month
Each letter arrives from a different moment in time, on paper chosen for its era, with Arthur's sketches in the margins.
A keepsake every three months
Starting with your very first letter: a ticket, a clipping, or a photograph Arthur found along the way and tucked inside for you.
A story that unfolds
A mysterious locket, a woman he keeps finding across the centuries, and a secret that leads back to you.
I was back at Avalon Crossing.
And you were there, a few rows ahead of me, exactly where I remembered you.
from Letter 3
Written to you, from every century
Every letter is addressed to you, the reader. The letters never name you, so the story is yours to step into, one envelope at a time.
